Phagwara, August 1, 2026 — The Punjab Football Association (PFA) has successfully conducted regional and final selection trials for Junior Boys at Amritsar and Kahma.
In the final selection trials held at Kahma, 40 players were shortlisted to undergo the preparatory coaching camp, which is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2026 at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Phagwara.

The Junior Boys National Football Championship will be staged at Bengaluru, Karnataka, beginning 25th August 2026.
Punjab has been placed in Group B and will face West Bengal in the opening match on 25th August, host Karnataka on 27th August and in final group game it will take Chandigarh on 29th August 2026.
