Phagwara, July 23, 2026 — The Punjab Youth League (PYL) Committee convened a meeting with all participating teams of the 2026–2027 season to brief them on the general organisation norms and technical aspects of the competition. The Punjab Youth Elite League, slated to commence on 5th August 2026, will feature teams comprised of players born in 2010, 2011, and 2012, ensuring opportunities for emerging youth talent across Punjab.
Competition Format: In Phase One (Qualifying Round), a total of 15 teams have been placed into five groups of three teams each. Teams will compete on a single-leg basis, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Final Phase. The Final Phase will feature 10 teams, battling for supremacy in Punjab’s premier youth competition.
