General Council elects Mr.Samir Thapar as President of PFA

The General Council of Punjab Football Association has unanimously re-elected Mr.Samir Thapar as President of Punjab Football Association for the new term of four years commencing 2018-2019. Whereas, Mr.Harjinder Singh, former International Footballer has also been unanimously elected as Honorary Secretary of the association. The General Council has further empowered Mr.Samir Thapar to nominate other Office Bearers, Executive Members and to constitute various Sub-committees in accordance with PFA's constitution. Mr.Tara Singh, Arjuna Awardee has attended this meeting as an observer from Punjab Olympic Association.
